    1 head(s) broccoli, trimmed and cut into florets
    ½ c. water
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee vegetable oil
    4 clove(s) garlic, thinly sliced
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee soy sauce
    ¼ tsp. cracked black pepper
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee grated Parmesan cheese

    Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, cook the broccoli and water over high heat for 5 minutes or until just tender. Drain and set aside.
    2. In the same saucepan, cook vegetable oil and garlic over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
    3. Remove from heat.
    4. Stir in soy sauce, black pepper and broccoli.
    5. Toss with Parmesan cheese before serving.
