Fresh Mason Jar Butter (Get Cooking)
Servings and Ingredients
|12 oz. pasteurized farm fresh cream|
|Leaves from 1 sprig fresh thyme|
|½ tsp. flake sea salt|
- Place cream in a quart Mason jar, top with lid and tightly secure.
- Shake cream vigorously for 6 to 8 minutes or until the buttermilk separates from the butter.
- Pour buttermilk out of jar and reserve for another use, such as pancakes.
- Using a spoon, scoop butter in a small dish and top with fresh thyme leaves and flake sea salt.
