Fresh BLT Salad
Servings and Ingredients
|5 c.||cubed French baguette|
|1 tbsp.||Hy-Vee Select basil-flavored olive oil|
|6 slice(s)||lower-sodium Hy-Vee bacon|
|¼ c.||Hy-Vee ranch dressing|
|½ tsp.||Hy-Vee taco seasoning|
|1||(10 oz) bag chopped romaine lettuce|
|1||(11 oz) package cherry tomatoes, quartered|
- Toss together cubed baguette and olive oil. Bake in 475-degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Set aside.
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp, about 8 minutes. Transfer to paper towel-lined plate. Crumble into bite-size pieces.
- In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and taco seasoning, stirring until combined.
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and dressing mixture. Toss to coat. Top with baked croutons.
