|1 ¼ c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour|
|1 ½ tbsp. Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|¼ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking powder|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt|
|1 c. low-fat buttermilk|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee skim milk|
|1 Hy-Vee large egg, beaten|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, melted and cooled|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla extract|
|Hy-Vee unsalted butter, for serving|
|Hy-Vee 100% pure maple syrup, for serving|
|Hy-Vee fruit jam, for serving|

- Griddle or skillet
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine buttermilk, milk, egg, butter and vanilla in a separate bowl; add to dry ingredients. Stir until moistened.
Pour batter on hot griddle or skillet, using 1/4-cup measure. Spread batter to shape into a circle. Cook until bubbles form and pop on surface; flip, and cook 2 minutes more, or until golden brown. Serve hot pancakes with butter, syrup and/or jam.
