Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties, and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and remaining 3 tablespoons steak sauce. Spread on cut sides of buns. Sandwich buns with burgers, tomatoes and lettuce.
