    1 lbs. 85%-lean ground beef
    1 c. Hy-Vee shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
    6 tbsp. Hy-Vee steak sauce, divided
    1 tbsp. fresh shallot, chopped
    1 tbsp. fresh garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. kosher salt
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    3 tbsp. Hy-Vee mayonnaise
    6 slider buns
    6 tomato slices
    6 lettuce leaves

    Directions

    1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheese, 3 tablespoons steak sauce, shallot, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 patties.

    2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties, and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

    3. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and remaining 3 tablespoons steak sauce. Spread on cut sides of buns. Sandwich buns with burgers, tomatoes and lettuce.
