1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
⅓ c. chopped green bell pepper
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil
1 (14.5 ounce) can Hy-Vee petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil, undrained
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee tomato paste
2 tbsp. chopped fresh basil

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, cook onion and bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat about 8 minutes or until tender. Add undrained tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered about 10 minutes. Stir in basil before serving.
