8 cloves garlic, peeled and quartered lengthwise
½ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper flakes
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1 tsp. Hy-Vee kosher salt

Directions

  1. Place beans and water in 2-1/2-quart slow cooker. Stir in garlic and red pepper flakes. Top with butter. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-1/2 to 3 hours or until beans and garlic are tender. Sprinkle salt over cooked beans; stir to combine.
