    2(32 oz each) packages frozen Ore-Ida or Mr. Dell's shredded hash browns
    1 c.butter, cut in pieces or melted
    2 c.half-and-half
    1 bunch(es)green onions, chopped
    1 c.shredded Cheddar cheese
    ¾ lbs.cubed Velveeta
    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Combine hash browns, butter, half-and-half, green onions, Cheddar cheese and Velveeta in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread in a 10-by-14-inch casserole dish.
    3. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
