|½ c.||Hy-Vee party peanuts|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|⅔ c.||Hy-Vee unsalted butter|
|½ c.||light corn syrup|
|1 tsp.||Hy-Vee vanilla extract|
|1 c.||candy-coated chocolate pieces|

- 2-quart saucepan
- Candy thermometer
Toss together popcorn, cereal and peanuts in prepared bowl; set aside.
Cook sugar, butter, corn syrup and water in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until mixture turns light brown and candy thermometer reaches 280˚F to 285˚F (20 to 25 minutes). Stir in vanilla.
Immediately pour over cereal mixture, tossing to coat evenly. Stir in candy-coated chocolate pieces.
Immediately pour onto prepared baking sheet. While cooling, break into pieces.
Store in a tightly covered container.
