Creamy White Sauce
Servings and Ingredients
|1 tbsp. extra-light olive oil|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee flour|
|Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste|
|1 c. Hy-Vee original flavor ricemilk|
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper.
- Slowly whisk in ricemilk. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Season with additional salt and pepper, if necessary.
- If desired, serve over steamed vegetables or hot, cooked pasta.
