1 tbsp. extra-light olive oil
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee flour
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 c. Hy-Vee original flavor ricemilk

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Slowly whisk in ricemilk. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Season with additional salt and pepper, if necessary.
  4. If desired, serve over steamed vegetables or hot, cooked pasta.
