|1 tsp.||Hy-Vee baking soda|
|½ tsp.||Hy-Vee salt|
|½ c.||Hy-Vee butter, softened|
|½ c.||butter-flavored shortening|
|¾ c.||Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|2||Hy-Vee large eggs|
|1 tsp.||Hy-Vee vanilla extract|
|1||(12-oz.) pkg Hy-Vee creamy white baking chips|
|1||(6.5-oz.) pkg Hy-Vee macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped|

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, shortening and sugar until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, stirring until completely combined. Fold in baking chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand on cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
