    1. Cream butter and vanilla. Gradually beat in powdered sugar, cocoa, salt and milk until smooth and creamy. For fluffier frosting, continue beating until light and fluffy.

      This recipe makes enough frosting for a two-layer 8- or 9-inch cake.
