Crab Avocado Dip

1 (8 oz) pkg Hy-Vee cream cheese, softened | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee milk | ||
2 tsp. lemon or lime juice | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cumin | ||
½ tsp. ground paprika, plus extra for garnish | ||
1 (6.5 oz) can jumbo lump crab meat, drained | ||
½ avocado, seeded, peeled and chopped | ||
½ c. chopped red onion | ||
½ c. chopped canned pickled vegetables, optional | ||
3 medium apples, thinly sliced |
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, milk, lemon juice, cumin and 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Stir in crab meat. Add avocado, red onion and, if desired, pickled vegetables; stir gently to combine.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon mixture onto thinly sliced apples. If desired, sprinkle with paprika.
