Crab Avocado Dip
Servings and Ingredients
|1 (8 oz) pkg Hy-Vee cream cheese, softened|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee milk|
|2 tsp. lemon or lime juice|
|½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cumin|
|½ tsp. ground paprika, plus extra for garnish|
|1 (6.5 oz) can jumbo lump crab meat, drained|
|½ avocado, seeded, peeled and chopped|
|½ c. chopped red onion|
|½ c. chopped canned pickled vegetables, optional|
|3 medium apples, thinly sliced|
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, milk, lemon juice, cumin and 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Stir in crab meat. Add avocado, red onion and, if desired, pickled vegetables; stir gently to combine.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon mixture onto thinly sliced apples. If desired, sprinkle with paprika.
