    1 (16.5-oz.) pkg. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
    ⅓ c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour
    3 tbsp. Jimmy sprinkles, plus additional for decorating
    1 ¼ c. Hy-Vee creamy white frosting

    Directions

    1. Let sugar cookie dough stand at room temperature for 15 minutes or until softened. meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees. line cookie sheets with parchment paper; set aside.

    2. Break dough into pieces and place in a large bowl. Knead flour into cookie dough until combined. Add multicolor jimmy sprinkles; gently knead to combine.

    3. Roll dough between 2 large sheets of waxed paper to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut dough into shapes using 2-inch cookie cutters. Place cutouts 2-inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. 

    4. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove and cool completely on wire racks. Frost, then sprinkle with additional jimmies, if desired.
