    ¼ c. coffee, strongly brewed and cooled
    ¼ c. Wide Awake French vanilla coffee creamer
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla extract
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon
    4 slice(s) Hy-Vee Bakery sourdough bread
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee salted butter, divided
    Hy-Vee 100% pure maple syrup, for serving
    Hy-Vee powdered sugar, for serving

    Directions

    1. Whisk together egg, brewed coffee, coffee creamer, vanilla, and cinnamon in shallow bowl. One at a time, dip bread into egg mixture, coating both sides. 

    2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add 2 dipped bread slices and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and bread slices. Drizzle with syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
