Classic Popcorn Balls
This basic recipe is the foundation for many popcorn creations. Get creative with drizzles of caramel or mix-in chopped chocolates and peanut butter cups.
Servings and Ingredients
|12 c.||Hy-Vee air popped white popcorn|
|3 tbsp.||Hy-Vee unsalted butter|
|30||Hy-Vee large marshmallows|
|½ c.||chopped almond bark (about 3 oz)|
- Place popcorn in a large bowl; set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat butter and marshmallows over medium-low heat until melted, stirring occasionally. Add almond bark and stir until almond bark is melted.
- Pour almond bark mixture over popcorn; stir until thoroughly coated.
- Moisten hands with water and shape popcorn mixture into twelve balls.
