    3 oz.tequila
    3 oz.fresh lime juice
    2 oz.orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
    Lime wedges, for garnish

    Directions

    1. Place kosher salt in a shallow dish. Dip the rim or an 8-oz. cocktail glass in water and immediately dip into salt and fill with ice; set aside.

    2. Combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and 1 cup ice in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake well.

    3. Strain margarita into prepared glass. Garnish with a lime slice, if desired.
