    1 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    5 c. water, divided
    6 Sunkist organic lemons, plus additional sliced lemons for garnish
    Fresh mint, for garnish

    Directions

    1. In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water until the sugar is dissolved completely.
    2. While the sugar is dissolving, juice lemons, enough to make one cup juice.
    3. Add the juice and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add remaining 4 cups of water and refrigerate until chilled. If lemonade is too sweet, add a little more lemon juice to taste. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and mint, if desired.
