1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.) | ||
½ c. raisins | ||
1 c. mayonnaise | ||
¼ c. sugar | ||
3 tsp. vinegar |
Directions
- This salad is better if made the day before serving.
- Divide broccoli into small florets. Cover with salted water and soak for 1 hour.
- Fry bacon. Drain and crumble.
- Plump raisins in hot water. Drain.
- Mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
- Drain salted water off broccoli.
- Stir broccoli, bacon, onion, raisins and mayonnaise mixture together.
- Store salad in refrigerator.
