Classic BLT with Turkey Bacon
Servings and Ingredients
|½ head(s) iceberg lettuce|
|6 slice(s) Hy-Vee turkey bacon|
|8 slice(s) Hy-Vee white bread|
|4 tsp. Hy-Vee light mayonnaise, divided|
|1 large tomato, sliced and divided|
- Loosely tear lettuce leaves. Rinse and dry well.
- Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 6 minutes, or until it reaches desired doneness. Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel. Once cool, break pieces in half.
- Meanwhile, toast the bread.
- To assemble sandwiches, spread 1 teaspoon mayonnaise on a slice of toasted bread. Top with lettuce, tomato, 3 half-slices of bacon and another slice of bread. Repeat for remaining 3 sandwiches.
