    2 c. Hy-Vee buttermilk complete pancake and waffle mix
    6 (1-oz. each) pouches Hy-Vee rich chocolate flavor hot cocoa mix
    1 ⅓ c. water
    Sweetened fresh strawberries, for serving
    Hy-Vee chocolate-flavored syrup, for serving

    • Large nonstick skillet
    • Spatula

    Directions

    1. Whisk together pancake mix, cocoa pouches, and water in a large bowl. Spray a nonstick skillet with nonstick spray; heat over medium heat. 

    2. Pour 1/3 cup batter for each pancake into hot skillet. When bubbles begin to break at surface and bottoms are light brown, flip pancake. When pancake is cooked through, remove from skillet. Repeat with remaining batter.  

    3. Serve pancakes topped with sweetened fresh strawberries and Hy-Vee chocolate-flavored syrup, if desired.
