    1(30 oz) pkg Ore Ida hash browns
    1(8 oz) pkg Hy-Vee shredded 2% cheddar cheese
    1(8 oz) container Hy-Vee sour cream
    2shallots, diced
    1 tbsp.Hy-Vee butter
    1 c.Hy-Vee skim milk
    ½ c.Hy-Vee reduced-sodium chicken broth
    1 tsp.Hy-Vee dill weed
    Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee pepper, to taste

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a greased microwave-safe 9-by-13-inch baking dish, stir together hash browns, cheese, sour cream and shallots.
    2. Stir together butter, milk, chicken broth, dill weed, salt and pepper. Pour over hash browns.
    3. Microwave casserole uncovered on HIGH for 5 minutes. Stir. Microwave uncovered an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    4. Transfer dish to oven and bake for 20 minutes or until top is slightly brown.
