Cook macaroni in a large pot of boiling water for 7 to 8 minutes; drain.
Meanwhile, brown ground beef with onions; drain.
Combine macaroni, beef mixture, cheese sauce mix, milk and remaining 3 tablespoons melted butter. Pour into a 1-1/2-quart casserole dish and top with cornflake mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated through.
