Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine ground beef, evaporated milk, cracker crumbs, shredded Cheddar cheese, beaten egg, onion, green bell pepper, salt, black pepper and basil in a large bowl. Pack into a meatloaf pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Cut cheese slices into triangles. Arrange triangles to overlap each other on top of meat loaf.
- Bake until cheese melts.
