|1 c. Hy-Vee butterscotch baking chips|
|½ c. Hy-Vee creamy peanut butter|
|3 c. Hy-Vee corn flakes|
|⅓ c. Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips|
|1 tsp. Hy-Vee vegetable shortening|
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter until smooth, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
- Gradually stir in corn flakes, stirring gently until all pieces are evenly coated. Press into a greased 8-by-8-inch baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and shortening. Microwave 1 minute or until melted, stirring after 30 seconds.
- Drizzle chocolate over cereal mixture. Chill 1 hour before cutting into squares.
