    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee sugar
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee light soy sauce
    2 tbsp. sesame oil
    2 tbsp. fresh garlic, minced
    2 tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper
    1 ¼ lbs. beef skirt steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips
    1 medium red and/or green bell pepper, seeded and cut into chunks
    1 small zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1 red onion, cut into wedges
    6 (12-inch) metal skewers
    1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
    Green onion tops, thinly sliced, for garnish
    Spicy Dipping Sauce
    2 tbsp. chili-garlic sauce
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee light soy sauce
    1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee sugar

    Directions

    1. Combine sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and crushed red pepper in a medium bowl. Add beef strips and toss to coat. Cover, refrigerate 1 hour.

    2. Prepare Spicy Dipping Sauce: Combine chili-garlic sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and sugar in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.

    3. Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat.

    4. Thread beef, bell pepper, zucchini and onion onto skewers. Grill until beef is cooked to desired doneness, turning occasionally. Allow 10 minutes for medium-rare (130 degrees) and 12 to 13 minutes for medium (140 degrees).

    5. Sprinkle sesame seeds over skewers. If desired, garnish with onion tops. Serve with Spicy Dipping Sauce.
