Description

This recipe combines two of our favorite things: buffalo sauce and tater tots. If you're looking to make this dish more like your favorite game day dip, toss in a cup or two of Hy-Vee rotisserie chicken.

1 tbsp. Hy-Vee dry ranch dressing mix
3 tbsp. Hy-Vee big bad buffalo wing sauce, divided, plus additional for serving
½ c. crumbled blue cheese
1 tsp. Hy-Vee coarse-ground black pepper
Italian parsley, chopped, for garnish
Hy-Vee crushed red pepper, optional
Celery sticks, for garnish
Carrot sticks, for garnish
Hy-Vee ranch salad dressing, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss potato puffs with ranch dressing mix and 2 tablespoons buffalo wing sauce. Place on to prepared pan and bake 20 minutes turning occasionally. Remove from oven. 

  2. Toss crumbled blue cheese with remaining 1 tablespoon buffalo wing sauce and coarse-ground black pepper. Spoon on to crispy baked puffs. Sprinkle with parsley and crushed red pepper; top with celery and carrot sticks. Serve with Hy-Vee ranch salad dressing and additional buffalo sauce, if desired.
