Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese
Here's a delicious twist on an all-time fave, buffalo chicken wings. Bite into layers of deli buffalo chicken, melty pepper jack cheese and fresh avocado on artisan bread.
Servings and Ingredients
|1||ripe avocado, halved, seeded and peeled|
|8||(1/2-inch thick, 2.5 oz each) slices Hy-Vee Bakery Italian , or country-style bread|
|2 tbsp.||Hy-Vee butter, softened|
|4 oz.||Hy-Vee sliced Pepper Jack cheese|
|6 oz.||thinly sliced Hy-Vee Deli Buffalo Chicken|
Things To Grab
- Large skillet
- Thinly slice avocado; set aside.
- Lightly spread one side of each bread slice with butter. Top unbuttered sides of four of the bread slices with cheese, chicken and avocado. Top with remaining four bread slices, buttered sides up.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet. Grill sandwiches until bread is golden and cheese is melted, turning once halfway through cooking.
