Brownie Frosting: | ||
4 tbsp. cocoa | ||
½ c. margarine | ||
6 tbsp. milk | ||
1 box(es) sifted powdered sugar | ||
1 tbsp. vanilla | ||
1 c. chopped nuts |
Directions
- Grease and flour large jelly roll pan (11-by-18-inch). Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Mix flour and sugar together and set aside.
- In saucepan, bring 1 cup margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa and water to a rapid boil. Pour over flour/sugar mixture and mix well.
- Add buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
- To make frosting, bring 4 tablespoons cocoa, 1/2 cup margarine and milk to a boil. Add powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla and nuts. Frost cake.
