    1 c. Hy-Vee chicken broth
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee half-and-half
    1 (10.5 oz) can Hy-Vee condensed cream of broccoli soup
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee basil
    1 ½ tsp. Hy-Vee parsley
    Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee ground pepper to taste
    2 c. broccoli florets
    1 tsp. Polaner chopped garlic
    2 c. uncooked Hy-Vee instant brown rice

    Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together chicken broth, half-and-half, soup, basil, parsley, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    2. Stir in broccoli and garlic. Return to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover. Reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes.
    3. Remove pan from heat. Allow to stand covered for 5 to 10 minutes.
