1 ⅓ c. Hy-Vee butter, softened | ||
2 Hy-Vee eggs | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla | ||
2 c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking powder | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt | ||
3 c. Hy-Vee Frosted Flakes cereal | ||
¾ c. Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee chopped nuts |
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Add cereal, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.
- Spread into a greased 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely; cut into bars.
