    1 ⅓ c. firmly packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    1 ⅓ c. Hy-Vee butter, softened
    2 Hy-Vee eggs
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla
    2 c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking powder
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    3 c. Hy-Vee Frosted Flakes cereal
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips
    ½ c. Hy-Vee chopped nuts

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Add cereal, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.
    3. Spread into a greased 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely; cut into bars.
