    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee vegetable oil
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 lbs. lean ground beef
    Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste
    Barbecue sauce, to taste
    6 Hy-Vee Bakery cocktail buns, split
    3 slice(s) Hy-Vee cheddar cheese, halved
    4 oz. bleu cheese crumbles


    1. In a small skillet, heat oil over low heat. Add onions and cook until they become soft and caramel in color; set aside.
    2. Form ground beef into 6 patties, season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat a charcoal or gas grill to medium heat for direct cooking. Grill patties for 14 to 18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees, turning once halfway through grilling.
    3. Spread barbecue sauce on bottom half of buns. Top with grilled slider patties, cheddar cheese, bleu cheese crumbles, caramelized onions and top bun.
