    Description

    A two-ingredient dish is made that much easier with the use of a cast iron skillet. Sear the outside of the chicken, and then place it in the oven to finish cooking.

    1 ½ tsp. Zatarain's big and zesty blackened creole seasoning

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Lightly sprinkle both sides of chicken with blackened seasoning.
    3. Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until smoking hot.
    4. Place chicken in hot skillet and cook 1 minute; turn and cook another minute. Place skillet in preheated oven 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
