Bittersweet Chocolate Bing Cherry Brownies
Servings and Ingredients
|½ lbs.||bittersweet chocolate, chopped|
|½ c.||Hy-Vee unsalted butter|
|2||Hy-Vee HealthMarket eggs|
|½ tsp.||Hy-Vee pure vanilla extract|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee sugar|
|½ c.||Hy-Vee flour|
|¼ c.||unsweetened cocoa powder|
|1 c.||Bing cherries, pitted and quartered|
- Slowly melt the chocolate and butter in the top of a double boiler.
- Whisk together the eggs, vanilla and sugar until smooth. Add the melted chocolate and whisk until incorporated. Sift together the flour and cocoa and fold in.
- Fold in the cherries.
- Spread the batter into a parchment-lined 8-inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, or until just done.
- Let cool in the pan and cut into 2-inch squares.
