Birthday Bash Treats
Indulge in a treat that's just as delicious as birthday cake. Top rice cereal treats with It's Your Churn chocolate ice cream and It's Your Churn cake & ice cream. Decorate with colored sprinkles.
Servings and Ingredients
|3 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter|
|1 (10.5 oz) bag Hy-Vee miniature marshmallows|
|6 c. Hy-Vee crispy rice cereal|
|1 (1.5 qt) container It's Your Churn premium chocolate ice cream, softened|
|1 (1.5 qt) container It's Your Churn cake & ice cream, softened|
- Line a 13-by-9-inch baking pan with foil, leaving about 1 inch of foil extending over the edges of the pan; grease foil.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Add rice cereal; stir until well-coated. Using a buttered spatula, press into prepared pan. Cool to room temperature.
- Spread chocolate ice cream over cereal treat layer. Freeze for 2 hours.
- Spread cake & ice cream on top.
- Cover and freeze for several hours or overnight. Use foil to lift uncut treats out of pan. Place on cutting board; cut into squares.
