    1 (8 oz) pkg Hy-Vee shredded Colby Jack cheese
    ¾ c. lager
    Hy-Vee pretzels, for serving

      1. Beat ranch salad dressing mix, cream cheese and shredded cheese with electric mixer until well combined. Gradually add beer; mix until smooth.
      2. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Serve with pretzels if desired.
