|2 lbs. stew meat|
|3 tbsp. Hy-Vee canola oil|
|3 c. water|
|1 package(s) Hy-Vee beef stew seasoning|
|5 c. chopped vegetables (potatoes, carrots, celery or onions)|
|2 c. Hy-Vee frozen sweet peas|
|Salt, to taste|
|Black pepper, to taste|

Stir in water and beef stew seasoning. Bring to a boil
Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1-1/2 hours.
Add chopped vegetables. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender, about 1 hour.
Add Hy-Vee frozen sweet peas during the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
