    For the sports nutrition enthusiasts, here's a tasty way to get BCAAs pre- or post-workout. These pops are made with XTEND BCAA powder, available in the HealthMarket section of Hy-Vee.

    1 scoop(s) Watermelon Explosion XTEND BCAA powder
    30 oz. water, divided
    1 scoop(s) Freedom Ice XTEND BCCA powder

    Things To Grab

    • 6 (5-oz. each) pop molds
    • Wooden craft sticks
    • Aluminum foil

    Directions

    1. Combine 1 scoop of watermelon BCAA poser with 10-oz. water. Fill each 5-oz. pop mold 1/3 full. Freeze 4 hours or until firm.

    2. Pour 10-oz. water over frozen watermelon layer, filling pops 2/3 full. Cover with foil and insert wooden sticks into the center of each mold. Fold another 4 hours or until frozen and firm.

    3. Combine 1 scoop Freedom BCAA powder with remaining 10-oz. water. Uncover molds and pour over frozen water layer until full. Freeze another 4 hours or until completely frozen.

    4. To remove pops, dip molds in warm water until the sides release and the pop is easily removed from the mold.
