1 (24-oz.) can Hy-Vee Sloppy Joe sauce
4 Hy-Vee Bakery sesame seed buns, split
4 slice(s) (1-oz. each) Hy-Vee mild Cheddar cheese
Butter lettuce leaves
Desired toppers, such as: Red onion slices, tomato slices, That's Smart! hamburger dill pickle slices, and/or Hy-Vee corn chips

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler on HIGH. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until meat is brown; drain. Return beef to skillet. Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce.

  2. Broil bun halves, cut sides up, 4-inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until toasted. Remove bun tops and place cheese slices on bun bottoms. Return to broiler and broil 1 minute or until cheese begins to melt.

  3. Add butter lettuce leaves to bun bottoms. Top with meat mixture; red onion, tomato, and dill pickle slices; and corn chips. Add bun tops. Serve immediately.
