BBQ Bacon Slider
Servings and Ingredients
|8||Hy-Vee Gourmet Steakhouse bacon cheddar sliders|
|½ c.||Hy-Vee barbecue sauce|
|8 slice(s)||Hy-Vee cheddar cheese|
|8||Hy-Vee Bakery slider buns, split|
|8||crisp lettuce leaves|
|8 slice(s)||Hy-Vee bacon, cooked crisp and halved|
- Preheat grill to direct heat over medium-high heat. Grill patties for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip. Brush top sides with barbecue sauce. Continue to grill for another 2 to 3 minutes, flip again, and brush with more barbecue sauce. Continue to grill and brush with barbecue sauce until temperature reaches 160 degrees. Top with each with a slice of cheese; continue cooking until just melted.
- Top each bottom bun with a lettuce leaf, bacon, burger and top bun. Serve with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
