    1 c. Hy-Vee half-and-half or Hy-Vee milk
    2 Hy-Vee eggs
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select maple syrup
    ⅛ tsp. salt
    8 (1/2-inch thick) slices Hy-Vee Bakery French bread or other bakery bread
    4 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter
    4 bananas, thinly sliced
    Ground cinnamon, maple syrup

    Directions

    1. Whisk together half-and-half, eggs, maple syrup and salt in a shallow bowl.
    2. Dip bread into egg mixture and soak each side 30 seconds. Transfer bread to a baking sheet and let stand 1 to 2 minutes.
    3. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook bread 2 slices at a time 2 to 3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining slices. Top with sliced bananas, cinnamon and maple syrup.
