    ½ c. margarine or butter, softened
    1 ½ c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 bananas, mashed
    ¾ c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    cream cheese frosting

    Directions

    1. Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Fold in flour and baking soda. Pour into a greased 12-by-18-inch pan.
    2. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
    3. When cooled, frost with cream cheese frosting, if desired.
