    ¼ c. Hy-Vee brown sugar, packed
    ¼ c. water
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select balsamic vinegar
    1 small shallot, finely chopped and sauteed
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper

    Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, combine cherries and brown sugar. Bring to boiling over medium heat; boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    2. Combine cherry mixture and remaining ingredients in food processor or blender and process until smooth.
