    1 loaves (20-oz.) Hy-Vee Bakery Italian bread, cut into 1-inch thick slices

    Directions

    1. In a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan, place butter and brown sugar. Heat in 350-degree oven until melted, about 10 minutes. Stir to combine.

    2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg, whisking until well combined. Dip bread slices into egg mixture; place on melted butter mixture.
    3. Bake, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes or until bread is slightly crisp.
