    2 slice(s) Hy-Vee bacon, crisp-cooked
    ½ c. Hy-Vee 100% pure maple syrup
    1 c. water
    Bacon and Bourbon Cocktail
    2 oz. Knob smoked maple bourbon
    1 oz. Bacon and Maple-Infused Syrup
    1 oz. unsweetened iced tea
    Candied bacon, for garnish

    • 6-oz. cocktail glass

    • Cocktail shaker

    Directions

    1. Make Bacon and Maple-Infused Simple Syrup: Add bacon, maple syrup, and water to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer 1 minute; remove from heat and cool slightly.

    2. Make Bacon and Bourbon Cocktail: Fill a 6-oz. cocktail glass with ice; set aside. Add additional ice to a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon, Bacon and Maple-Infused Syrup, and unsweetened iced tea; shake until well combined and chilled.

      To make homemade candied bacon, preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper. Add bacon strips and drizzle with Hy-Vee 100% pure maple syrup. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crispy. Drain on paper towels and cool before serving.
