1 (13.25 oz) package Hy-Vee whole wheat angel hair pasta | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee soy sauce | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select balsamic vinegar | ||
1 tsp. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
1 clove(s) garlic, minced | ||
cayenne pepper, to taste | ||
2 tbsp. peanut oil | ||
1 c. sliced carrots | ||
½ medium red onion, thinly sliced | ||
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms |
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Stir together soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, garlic and cayenne pepper; set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add carrots, onions and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 2 to 4 minutes, until onions are softened and carrots begin to brown.
- Add soy sauce mixture to the pan. Cook for 30 seconds. Add drained pasta to the pan. Toss to combine.
