5 c. Hy-Vee bite-size shredded wheat cereal
2 ½ c. chow mein noodles
1 c. Hy-Vee whole cashews
¼ c. Hy-Vee margarine, melted
3 tbsp. Hy-Vee soy sauce
1 tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Combine shredded wheat, chow mein noodles and cashews in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, stir together margarine, soy sauce and garlic powder.
  4. Pour margarine mixture over cereal mixture; stir to coat evenly.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
  6. Pour onto waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
