    The Bee’s Knees is a classic gin cocktail dating back to the early 1900’s. Jeff updated this classic by using sweet Honeycrisp apples, honey, and savory sage.

    ¾ Honeycrisp apple, quartered
    ½ lemon, juiced
    1 ½ oz. Tanqueray gin
    3 fresh sage leaves, plus additional for garnish

    Directions

    1. Add apple quarters, lemon juice, and gin to a cocktail shaker. Using a muddler, muddle ingredients together. Add fresh sage leaves and ice to cocktail shaker. Shake until combined and chilled.

    2. Double strain into a champagne flute and garnish with fresh sage, if desired.
