Apple Pie Sundae
Servings and Ingredients
|3 small organic apples, peeled, cored and chopped|
|¼ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar|
|¼ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon|
|¼ c. water|
|2 whole Hy-Vee low-fat graham crackers, crushed|
|2 tbsp. Hy-Vee reduced-fat whipped topping, thawed, divided|
- In a medium saucepan, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon and water. Cover and heat over medium-high heat 10 to 15 minutes or until water is evaporated, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, place 2 tablespoons cracker crumbs in the bottom of each of two sundae dishes. Top each with 1/4 cup apple mixture.
- Top each with a dollop of whipped topping and sprinkle with remaining cracker crumbs.
