    4 c. water
    1 Granny Smith apple, sliced, plus additional for garnish
    1 Bosc pear, sliced, plus additional for garnish
    2 limes, halved, plus additional for garnish
    1 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    1 (750-ml) bottle white wine, divided
    1 bag(s) Hy-Vee vanilla chai tea

    • Large stockpot
    • Glass pitcher
    • Ice
    • Wine glasses

    Directions

    1. Add water to a large stockpot over medium-high heat. Add apple and pear slices and halved limes.

    2. Mix in sugar and 1/2 bottle white wine.  Add tea bag. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Remove sangria from heat. Pour into a glass pitcher and cool completely.

    3. When ready to serve, pour remaining ½ bottle of white wine into sangria. Pour sangria into an ice-filled wine glass. Garnish with additional slices apples, pears, and/or limes, if desired.
